Behind the scenes of the Risky Student Hotel, a short movie by third year Creative Business students. Logline: After a student creates a secret hotel at his college campus and goes to extreme lengths to pull it off, an unexpected threat puts the business at risk. I initially joined the team as a storyboard artist and shot-lister, but my role quickly expanded to include scriptwriting. On set, I served as the director's assistant, where I focused on identifying details in shots and continuity errors. I also handled the clapperboard. This experience taught me the importance of communication and thinking ahead, especially within a limited schedule. For instance, on the fourth day of shooting, we faced unexpected delays, and a particularly time-consuming scene involving extensive set design had to be filmed. I took the initiative to coordinate with the production design team, prepared the sets in advance, and conducted some blocking to ensure a smoother process. My efforts were appreciated by the team The premiere will take place in June at the Short film festival of Breda University of Applied Sciences, in Pathe Breda.

An internal promotional video for Gemeente Breda and Gemeente 's Hertogensbosch's new digital platform, the Smart City Monitor. The purpose of the video was to promote the older employees to use the digital platform to collect data. Although traditional data collection methods are still necessary and relevant, the smart city monitor can get data in the click of a button. To showcase this, the concept of the video flips the roles: A young intern at the municpality is equiped with the task of collecting data the old-fashioned way, in person. Not all shots from the storyboard were realized to optimize the storyline and make a shorter, yet impactful video. Not all movements were realized due to space limitations, as scouting was not possible prior to shooting-- certain locations, specifically those of the municipalities' office, were off-limits until the shooting day. A promotional video for Boulderhalle Bruut's new addition: Bruut Yoga. Yoga isn't just for relaxation or a standalone practice; it enhances all aspects of movement, including cross-fit and bouldering. By improving flexibility, strength, and balance, yoga supports and amplifies the climbing performance. However, climbing and movement also improves yoga's experience. This video primarily targets Boulderhalle Bruut's current members that already boulder.
